Storyteller, Designer, Publisher and Coach

There are two kinds of stories: the ones we tell ourselves, and the ones we tell the world. My name is Sean O’Leary, and I am a storyteller, designer, publisher, and coach. I support CEOs, management teams, and innovators to uncover the very best versions of themselves and their stories, then effectively communicate to their target audience. My broad business and communications experience enables me to create transparent living brands that radiate authenticity.

I help clients find their authentic inner voice – the one that hints at the untapped power within. Additionally, I hold qualifications in sustainability, focusing on both environmental stewardship and corporate employee well-being.

Background
Growing up on a farm, I was innately self-motivated with a deep curiosity about how things worked – always building, always creating. After graduating with a degree in Industrial Design Engineering, I established my own consultancy business. Thanks to exceptional clients along my journey, mutual trust naturally created a pipeline of opportunities to expand my services. I became self-taught in graphic design, web development, architecture, interior design, furniture design, marketing, video production, and publishing – subsequently winning several Irish industry awards. Simultaneously, I pursued extensive studies into the power of the subconscious mind, as well as physical, spiritual, and social health.

Driven to help people remedy common lifestyle challenges and achieve peak performance, I opened a gym, a health clinic, and a restaurant. I later returned to university to qualify in Business Strategy and Innovation, and subsequently studied Permaculture, Sustainability, and Regenerative Farming.

By combining the principles of Flow Science and Behavioural Modelling. I help individuals unlock their innate potential to produce transformative results.

Arkphire

Strategic Rebranding, Office Design & Staff Training

Faced with a declining market share and a restrictive legacy culture at A&O Ireland Limited, I stepped in to rename and rebrand the business as Arkphire. I designed their new corporate offices, developed fresh marketing communications, and trained staff in health culture to deliver increased productivity. I designed and built a new website to clearly articulated their business transformation and new vision. Enterprise Ireland subsequently recognised Arkphire as one of the country’s best new export brands. I continued my support role for two years. Seven years later Arkphire sold to US firm Presidio for €150 million.

Rebranding, Marketing, and Staff Growth Mindset

With global headquarters in Malta, BD Electronics supplies components to industries from staff bases across 50 countries. As an outsider in the established global supply chain, BD were, up until now, an unknown player. My brief was to build a true living brand and foster a unified culture among a global workforce that rarely met face-to-face. We developed engaging online soapbox events, social activities, and passion-sharing workshops. We also introduced a Pathways Programme for onboarding and upskilling, which allowed a highly motivated sales team to earn career acceleration credits. Combined with sharp, targeted online advertising, this project built a culture of unity, improved productivity and empowered a new generation of natural leaders who raised the bar for all. It also delivered a measurable increase in high-value client acquisition.

Glen Áine Foods

Marketing Irish Meats and Ready Meals to the UK

Glen Áine, part of the Lisavaird Food Group, needed to communicate the premium value of their meat products to prospective clients in an ultra-competitive UK supermarket sector. The goal was to secure engagement from busy retail buyers through a single, high-impact presentation. We designed a unique narrative combining their innovation expertise with a quality product. Using the rich farmlands of the Shannon Basin as a striking visual backdrop, we created crisp, commanding marketing materials that instantly built buyer confidence and answered key commercial questions.

Accelerated Growth - Aggressive Marketing Drive

I managed and executed the retail marketing, advertising, and showroom design to empower Flor Griffin Electrical’s aggressive expansion from €0.5m to €21.5m, helping them become Ireland’s largest independent electrical retailer. Working directly with the CEO, we analysed the direct financial returns of every advertising spend to turn customer response behaviour into a science. Across six retail sites in Cork, we mapped seasonal and weather-dependent purchasing habits, identified monthly spending cycles, and optimised campaign timing to avoid periods of divided consumer attention, truly changing the game for electrical retail marketing in Ireland.

Health and Career Reboot for Business Executive

The intense stress of international banking, compounded by an advanced Multiple Sclerosis (MS) diagnosis, left my client with great difficulty walking and forced her out of her high-profile executive role. Even basic daily tasks like cooking had become profoundly difficult. She relocated from the UK to Cork, Ireland, to undergo an intensive 8-week program with me. By blending physical training, specialised nutrition, behavioural modelling, and mind reprogramming, she left in a state of supreme health and successfully reclaimed her executive career.

Lisavaird Co-Op

Research, Strategy, Storytelling, Design & Publishing

While the Annual Report for Lisavaird Co-Op had traditionally been a strict financial document, working with the team at Lisavaird, we chose to highlight the real asset behind the agricultural co-operative’s 100-year success: its people. In 2025, we designed the report to celebrate their centenary history then In 2026, we focused on their living brand – the inspirational individuals whose combined stories reflect a powerful community ethos and sense of unity within the business. The publication successfully addresses sustainability, investment strategy, culture, community engagement and passion recognition among its people. It is a premium, magazine-style production that echoes the pride, loyalty, and ownership shared among staff, farmers, and stakeholders across generations at the Co-Op.

Farran Technology

Helping CEO Secure €23.8m Investment

The R&D department at Farran Technology had developed unique intellectual property in airport millimetre-wave scanning technology to detect hidden weapons, including those made from plastics and ceramics. However, the company had faced several failed attempts to secure the €4m required for product development. As an Industrial Design Engineer, I translated their technical data and the CEO’s vision into a 3D demonstration model, integrated it into a virtual airport, and created a lifelike walk-through simulation. I named and branded the innovation “Tadar” and created high-end pitch materials. This allowed the CEO to showcase the product’s global viability right from a boardroom desk. Blown away by the clarity of the vision, Smiths – one of the world’s largest security companies – invested €23.8m into the project, which is now deployed worldwide.

Selling certainty in advance of development build

I have helped property developers including Coolfadda secure faster sales and command higher valuations by transforming traditional 2D architectural CAD drawings into stunning, photo-realistic 3D models. By integrating these virtual buildings into ultra-realistic, natural living environments, we have added significant perceived value to upmarket builds. Many developers have found that highlighting these natural site features at the outset creates a definitive point of pride for buyers upon final handover. I further supported Coolfadda with marketing design a range of marketing material.

life transformation after stroke for Journalist

After suffering a massive stroke and spending 18 months in rehabilitation, journalist Deirdre O’Reilly was sent home. Medical consensus suggested she would never walk, talk, or care for herself again. Previously, Deirdre had used her platform as journalist with the Evening Echo newspaper to raise millions for struggling communities; now, the community rallied to fundraise for her special-needs home. Through a high-trust partnership between Deirdre and myself, specialised nutrition, physical exercise, and subconscious mind reprogramming, I coached Deirdre back to health. Driven by her deep love for her two young children, she defied all odds. A video of her successfully climbing the Chapel Steps in Bandon went on to receive over 500,000 views on YouTube.

O’Sulleabháin Pub

Timoleague, Ireland

Award-Winning Traditional Irish Pub Design

I designed and project managed the restoration of this rundown premises to create a landmark modern Irish pub with a unique interpretation of many old Irish pub features. The stone and woodwork craftsmanship is superb and the snug is an intimate space to behold. Guiding local trades people to tastefully recreate some of the very best of Irish pub detailing has created a jewel that, many years later still holds the same primary design elements and style. The pub won a top Irish language ‘Pub of the Year’ award for its traditional Irish styled shopfront, which has featured in many postcards, calendars and Irish tourism marketing material. The pub has changed hands twice in recent years and today is called Monks Lane, a cosy pub and wonderful natural food restaurant. Upon the architectural and stonework foundation, the new owners have added furnishings to create a sincerely welcoming atmosphere.

From Serious Illness to Health and Business Success

“Diagnosed with stage 4 lymphatic cancer, doctors told me I was the sickest person in the hospital. While chemotherapy went well, I was left drained and directionless. Through targeted exercise, diet, and a deeper understanding of my mindset, Sean got me back on track after years of back-breaking stress. He powered me up mentally and physically to build a new business (Wishing Well), supporting me with marketing and branding. He then introduced me to Toastmasters, where I won a top national Irish Award, and encouraged me to direct and act in local theatre. My wife is delighted with the new upgraded version of me! I wholeheartedly recommend Sean as a brilliant coach.” — Paschal O’Leary.

Assisting People in Finding Their True Inner Voice

Many public figures, corporate leaders, and politicians undertake public speaking programs like Toastmasters or hire PR coaches simply to learn how to “say the right thing.” However, research shows that only 7% of what we communicate comes from our words; the other 93% is transmitted through unconscious cues. In a world saturated with misinformation, people are looking for real alignment between an individual’s voice and their authentic story. I love helping clients discover their genuine inner voice – not by adding superficial layers of skills, but by surrendering to the natural flow from within. This is the cornerstone of creating a transparent, powerful, and lasting living brand.

Barryroe Co-Op

An iconic Local Farming Community Project

Commissioned to design the inaugural Barryroe Calendar, the team at the Co-Op and I chose to champion local natural history and the environment. The initiative showcased local artists, history and photographers, helping Mike Browne win ‘Irish Photographer of the Year’ during our first year of publication. Now running successfully for 25 years, the calendar has become a prized, nostalgic Christmas staple for local families and the global Irish diaspora. I collaborated closely with the Co-Op’s CFO, a passionate historian, to turn this into a meaningful annual publication.

Daniel Walsh

Behavioral Modelling Science in Sport

“Daniel Walsh came to me as an ambitious 16-year-old rugby player lacking the roadmap to achieve his dream of turning professional. I designed his gym, nutrition and mind programmes. He already had a great mind to absorb the science of Behavioural Modelling, which we used to embody the psychological and physical traits of his hero, Australian rugby superstar David Pocock. Through Flow Science and mind programming, Daniel achieved a deeper level of immersion both on the field and in the gym. He went on to play for Munster and the Ireland Under-20s. During a live 6 Nations TV broadcast, the commentator – completely unaware of our work – remarked that Daniel ‘played just like the new David Pocock of the Northern Hemisphere.’ Daniel went on to play professional rugby with Bury St Edmunds RUFC in the UK.”

GRUMPY AND WISE RESTAURANT

CROSSHAVEN CO. CORK. - 2 YEAR PROJECT

Within two years my business partner and I got this 130 seater restaurant and team of 15 in Crosshaven form run down to an incredible success story and a beacon within the hospitality industry today. In an industry plagued by staff quality and retention we excelled, having trained a team of exceptional professionals who not only shared our vision but, each day were individually self-motivated to better our business and service levels as if the business were their own.

Endless social media platform reviews paint a picture of exceptional staff, truly great food in a beautiful atmosphere, validation of our business model.

The venue became a local landmark, ‘the’ meeting place for a whole community. With this unique people-centred business model and with no advertising, the rapid growth has been noteworthy within the industry, especially in a small village community. With a team that love what they do then the old fashioned word of mouth is all you may need to grow organically.

CORPORATE OLYMPIAN GYM AND HEALTH CLINIC

SARSFIELD ROAD, WILTON, CORK - 7 YEAR PROJECT

My gym was not a public one, but rather appointment-based private club where clients came on recommendation from either past clients of from medical doctors who themselves had received great support and benefit from completing our programmes.

One group of clients were typically sportspeople looking for peak performance to deliver winning results. Our cutting-edge nutrition and exercise programmes were ahead of their time. The other group were business people who often had health and wellbeing issues as well as wanting to get into shape and regain their zest for life. With our small team of three, we achieved transformational results.

With seven years of continuous research and hundreds of live illness treatment and prevention case studies, this today offers a great depth of knowledge to support my work with elite athletes.

CORPORATE OLYMPIAN MARKETING AND DESIGN AGENCY

DOUGLAS, CORK - 10 YEAR PROJECT

I qualified with a degree in Industrial Design Engineering, the closest thing i could find to being an inventor, my passion since I was a young boy. Straight out of college I completed a ‘Start Your Own Business’ programme then set up my own marketing and design business. I self-trained as a graphic designer and won the top award in Ireland in this field for two consecutive years. I continued self-training in magazine publishing, marketing, advertising, web development, film-making and architecture, gaining many industry accolades in all these areas.

While these ten years in marketing and design thought me how to effectively communicate a corporate message, today my work with business leaders and elite sportspeople more involves preparing for a direct relationship between a single person and world market. Here there is no buffer of a PR company, marketing or advertising agency.

My passion in marketing today is to enable people live and speak their truth and brand/message without divide, to guide them in authenticity, passion and conviction – to create a tangible personal connection with their desired audience, one that develops a sustainable engagement.
